There are 2 schools of thought here. When playing conkers, if your 4er, beats somebody elses 7er, does you conker inherit all of the other conkers past victories and become an 11er, or does it just claim the beaten conker's scalp and become a 5er?

I think the latter is the correct way to play it. And no stampies.

But what are the true secrets to a champion conker?
Technique?
Natural Ageing?
Vinegar?
Baking?
Airing cupboard?
Big?
Small?
Wrist action or arm action?
String or shoelace?
?
?
?

Oooooh i'm 8 years old again:p

Ya see, that's the logical stance that I always took. However I seemed to be going against the grain in school, where everyone else believed that number one was the correct way. Me insisting otherwise just made everyone mad.

Obviously, I'm over it now...
