Hey could anyone give me some advice for my 1st tourney?

Kind of things I wanna know:

1. The price of it and any extra costs...
2. How long do they last?
3. How many games do you play?
4. How does it work?
5. How many paintballs will I need?
6. Do i need a pressure Gauge on my gun? How do I make sure my gun is shooting as fast as it can without getting penalties (In other words... how do i make sure its shooting about 290-295 fps?)

Thanks guys

Right

1. Depends on a couple of things, Entry Fee, How much paint you shoot, how much IS the paint you shoot and are you doing team paint. That is, the team shoots paint and the cost for everyone is divvied up fairly at the end of the day?

2. each game 8/10 minutes usually as game time, some run to time, some are over in seconds

3. Depends on the number of teams in your division, but I'd estimate 7ish

4. You go onto a field and shoot the other team, or get shot by them. You'll have a schedule to tell you when and where you should be and who you're playing

5. see 1. :D

6. No don't need a pressure guage, that just tells you the pressure of your marker, you'll use the chronograph to set your marker at the start of the day, you may be tested before or after you'bve played to make sure you're still legal so it's worth priodically checking throughout the day

Personally I set for about 285 just to allow for those (*cough*non-existant *cough*) variences between field chronys

other than that go along with an open mind and prepare to have a good time.

Hope this helped a little and enjoy the event

Go out and have fun

I have only been to a couple of tourneys, and so know what its like not knowing what to expect. Just go out and have a good time. once you've played one, you'll never stop. If you get it really bad like I have, you'll start dreaming about it. Oh and ask peoples opinion, everyone is really really helpful.
