So im sure some of you have seen my John O'Groats to Lands End cycle ride thread [http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?143357-Please-Read-Asking-for-some-sponsorship-kindness-from-all-the-ballers-on-P8nt!! ) and i just thought i would update everyone, we leave for Scotland on Sunday and begin riding tuesday, Andrea my other half has cracked 3 ribs so may not be cycling the whole way depending on the healing, but we are still doing it!!
If you have a couple of quid spare would you please please please sponsor us, we are getting close to raising £1000 already and would like to reach above that. The charities we are supporting are Cancer Research UK and Wateraid (who aim to provide clean safe drinking water in Africa)
I have set up a blog which i will be aiming to update daily, technology permitting, as well as taking lots of photos for you to peruse at your leisure, we will be taking 2 weeks using youth hostels and a couple of travelodges, staying at the following: JOG, Helmsdale, Inverness, Glen Coe, Crianlarich, New Lanark, Carlisle, Slaidburn, Ironbridge, Clun Mill, Welsh Bicknor, Glastonbury, Westward Ho and Perrenporth, the longest day is Slaidburn to Ironbridge which is approx 118 miles..
