Or to be acurate the pin is stuck somehow, so will not release gas or even shut air off anymore

its this little number

Its a mechanism i cant get my head around so if anyone could tell me how to strip this i'd be grateful

The maintenance manual has a link on the page you have aboue.

Here it is anyway.....
