my Broke Karni

hey guys

firstly if this is the wrong section then lemme kno.

ok now for the real matter at hand, ive got a karni and its not workin right its not cocking its self correctly or discharging as it should either and it leaks out of the noid housing
i beleive its part of my noid but havent got a clue on anything and thats about as much as i can say. i also dunno the fps of it so it could have been 'over charged' but also the cocking issue may be from being under pressured but im not sure; dont know how to tell.

any help pointers or guidance will be greatly appreciated

before you go any further was the gun originally working, and do you have a full tank of gas in it now?
Has your gun got the E1 style solenoid which you can see the plastic of the solenoid from underneath?
If so these quite often blow the gaskets which will give you all kinds of problems like you have?
Did you turn the LPR up on the front of the gun to get a higher velocity? If so, that's why the gaskets blown.
Just a guess but it may be a 50p fix and then "read the manual"!

sounds very much like an airflow problem. my brothers did the same thing till we figured out it was the LPR set too high, and the HPR set too low, or something.........

meh, should be an easy enough fix. try to stick with it, once it is shooting properly they are a pleasure to own. Nothing shoots like a Karni!!!

yes it did work but i was pamping away without the eyes on and got a chop, so tried to pull out the bolt and it wouldnt budge, so i fiddled around with pretty much everything, so im guessin both ur posts are gonna point me in the right direction

The Immortal phase that everyone uses when they balls up a cocker

Because you had the eyes off, you've simply chopped a ball and the shell has jammed the bolt solid. The cure...unpressurize the gun and use brute force to pull the bolt back. Clean the gun. turn the eyes "ON" and go play.

Or your way, crank the LPR on the front of the gun up and then blow the manifold gasket out. Adjust everything else that you possibly can so that your gun is completely screwed. Seek advice. order gaskets from planet http://www.planeteclipse.com/site/prodView.asp?prodID=528
wait for gaskets to turn up. fit gasket. turn gun on and blow gasket out again. fit 2nd gasket. turn LPR down. then "READ THE MANUAL" and learn how to set your gun up. once set, leave alone and go play
