Now i re-took my AS-level exam, and I don't know how but they expect me to spend 5 hours producing a photograph. Now I don't know about anyone else, but most of the time, I get the settings right on my camera = photo taken. done. So instead of fiddling with the enlargers and going back to film, which I'm sick of for various reasons, i decided to spend about 2-3 hours teaching myself how to use photoshop, and do a poster style thing for Loki. I never bothered posting this but I have and hour and a half before work so I thought I might as well.

here it is, please note that most of it is all from the original, which is in the same album should you wish to check.

Let me know what you think :p was a bit of fun, in no way professional. I got a C overall in my course.

Unfortuantely i absolutely love the real picture.

To critique the photoshop version, i will say, that the back ground is a little to bright and fake-ish. I think the picture qualitry/settings for the background sky and the actual players or too different...

One more thing i just noticed, there is a small blue ball bellow the left elbow of the furthest right player that could be shopped out as in the environment the picture LOOKS to be taken in (picturesque) i dont feel that that ball would be there...

Whether or not the photo or background is good ...the PS Skills you have used are well executed, Imma guess you used the magnetic lasso?

either way .. I need to learn this for my BTEC ....so If you could add me on facebook and just tell me how you removed the players from the background I'll be SO very grateful :)

didnt notice that ball there haha, the picture is supposed to look "fakeish" how photoshopped do i have to make it before the purposeful alice-in-wonderland style colours and poster style arrangement obviously becomes the intended effect! :p

Ahh, i completely mis-interpreted the style :D i thought you were trying to make a realistic looking 'perfect' shot using photoshop.

keep in mind i have absolutely no photography skill or training ;) and only mild use of photoshop...

no worries :d i suppose its a little tenous, the bunker was taken from a different shot, as was the sky, as was martyn on the right (standing shooting behind the bunker) i was going for a really OTT photoshopped effect, looking really poster-esque and well... u get me. It wouldnt have taken long to achieve the results you described. i needed to spend 5 hours :p
