ill get the ball rolling with some awsome new metal bands i have recently discovered....

Firewind - greek just plain awsome
Demons And Wizards - Blind Guardian + Iced Earth...what could be wrong
Wintersun - Finnish Death Metal...unknown but kick ass

thats it really...

Any of the band that went to Download this year have my vote

Never went (blasted college exams ) but Virgin Megastore were nice enough to open a section filled with albums of the bands that played

download is full of comercial fan pleasing crap really.....as much as i would have loved to see dream theater...4th time playing UK ever. i just couldnt go to download....there are so many better bands out there.... give me a genre and i can find better bands that are really unkown...if you fancy it pm me and ill send you some through msn
