I would have thought that the fresh air would be a good idea....."Mum i need to blow the cobwebs off...etc....it'll take my mind off........."

I forgot 2 ask.....u r ill from what.....if its a cold that's not 2 bad.....but if its terminal that may b a problem or if u have 2 broken legs :)

Also, try and make out that it is benefitting her (u going out i mean). U won't be under her feet all day, causing havok in the lounge watching videos....etc. Try it m8 good luck.

So a young lad of 14 has had a few days off school and wants to play some 'ball at the weekend,

the conversation may go like this.....

Mum- If you are well enough to play then you should have been well enough to go to school!!!

Pledge- Ohh come on Mum you know I was ill and i kept up with my school work (show poor excuse for what you consider to be work). But I do feel better and I am going to be fine on monday

Mum- You call that work, Maybe next weekend

PLedge- But there doing the training this weekend, I promise next weekend i'll help you out

Mum- I'll have to ask your father

Pledge- Dad, c'mon Ill clean your car and mow the lawn

Dad- Ok son

Mum- Not that quickly my lad, You need to be more responsible than that,
I know you won't do any of those things

Pledge- I promise I will. How about I do chores all week to pay for the paint bill that I am about to rack up tommorow (serious guys this kid litteraly eats paint)

Mum- Ok, only if you prove you are really responsible and I want to see good marks in your coursework/homework/school grades

Plege- Of course Mum i promise
