Much'o leakage :(

I have put an SP QEV in my ion and now it leaks profusely from the trigger and battery area i have tried replacing solenoid hosing that didnt work and i cant see any cracks or holes in the QEV it may be another part of the solenoid but im sure its the QEV.

I dont actually have any funds to fix at the mo(just bought an ego) so i cant send it to a tech centre but does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Make sure its actually done up tight, if not, place a small o ring on teh thread before fitting it

how to properly replace hoses and fit qevs ect, also you tried a new battery, i know its a long shot but ions are more than strange if they are getting low in the battery department lol

had the same problem with mine,it was a very small oring inside the qev.take the o ring of the thread then the threaded part should push out of the main body,there are two small o rings on the bar with the thread,on mine it was the o ring closest to the thread,got a replacment from a shocker spares kit,dont know what it fits on a shocker tho.

Ive had this problem everytime ive taken the qev off when you undo it the o ring seems to get damaged by the holes inside the qev,i found the best way to stop this was take the hose of the qev then undo it,and fit the qev first then the hose when puttin back together

Guys weirdest thing i ripped out that little ******* o-ring that was making it leak cut it in 2 put it back inside cus i dint have another the same and it worked perfect no leaks thats ace what a weird and wondrfull marker the ion is

indeed jim u no about the weirdness my ion goes thru, i swear its gotta b female as it deffinatly has periods.
wudnt turn on wen u had gas in,i take it apart n put it all back n it turns on fine,wen i put gas in and then turn on it turns off n wnt go on,i take apart again n re assemble,then i turn it on put gas on n its fine!pff women eh?
