Some people were asking questions about the spitfire mod on angelowners.com but the mods deleted and locked all the threads about it, no idea why though.

because they seem to be very snooty about there 'master techs' IMO... when i asked if anyone in the UK did eye mods i was told no only in the states

Dont get me wrong Ken crane and Co seem to be superb but the AOG forum seems a little cliquey (sp) sometimes .

Yeah, it does seem like that there. There are some really handy technical tips etc on the forums, but I tend to just read the posts there rather than actually contribute.

With the Spitfire Mod not coming from a WDP sanctioned source, or being fitted by registered tecs AOG will not allow it on the forum.

Even thought the mod is great for older Angels (giving them new leas of life) and works well, it will be shunned by the American purist. There loss…….

And I totally agree… They just don’t like the English on there forum at all; they tend to forget it was and still is the Brits that gave it them in the first place
