Ok peeps. This weekend coming 24/06 is the British round of the Moto GP series (damn fast motorbikes for those who don't know) at Donington Park. What I want to know is if any if you lot are gonna be there. I got my ticket yesterday for Father's Day, and am giddy as feck as it's my first time.

Gonna go for a Valentino Rossi win, Casey Stoner second, and John Hopkins third.

Cheers Tom, Stoner is in amazing form this season. Cannot do anything wrong. When he was on the Honda last year it didn't siut his riding style, BUT, stick an ultra competitive Aussie on a Ducati that is leaving everything else in it's dust, and you have got one real title contender. Last weekend's race was unreal, I did 7 or 8 bottles of Stella from start of the race to the finish:D:D:D:D Then hit the John Smith's Smooth, and then during a drunken row with the wife, realised that my marriage was over.

Bloody bikes, God how I love 'em!!!!

Cool, a real racer. I am ashamed to admit this but at the moment all I have is my CBT so I am on a scooter at the moment However when I get my full licence I am gonna be looking at an SV 650 probably. My cousin is flying around on a VERY sweet Kawasaki Z750, (as seen in TWO magazine)

The guy who introduced us all to paintball many years ago has a Suzuki GSX1400, goes through a new back tyre every 1000 miles!!!

Ant get a 400 for your first bike m8 seriously, the best bike I've ever had, and I've had a few (been riding for nearly 17 years and just stopped for the time being) was a ZXR400. I've got a very good contact for VFR400's plus you won't need to restrict it ;)

Now to Donny. Your predictions are good for the dry, what about if it rains?

I used to be totally addicted to all things two wheeled with a motor, last year i stripped my gsxr750 down for an overhaul and a general winter tidy up, however i then got introduced to paintball and the damn things still in a million pieces and there's no sign of it getting rebuilt in the near future!:D

Enjoy your day Ant, it'll be great and the noise is unbelievable:)

Sv650 is a great bike to get started on. After that if it is sports bikes you are into, do consider moving on to a GSXR600 or similar.

Do please get some experience on the road. Most accidents occur through a lack of experience from new riders and born again bikers.

Well if it lashes it down, Vermuelen first, without a shadow of a doubt. I would say closely followed by Rossi then Stoner but in the wet nobody in the world can touch Vermuelen and Suzuki have got their act together with their bike. Honda however have let Hayden down big time. Kawasaki have impressed me this year and Randy de Puniet has come through

Cheers guys, this is what I love about bikes. It's one great big extended family that you just don't get with cars and for that very reason I am not interested in driving, despite being 32!!! And yes I have started late in life with bikes, but don't worry guys I am under no illusions as to my experience and will only move up when I am genuinely ready to. As for the noise on the big day, I have got pissed off with my cousin phoning me from Redgate or Foggy's Esses as they raced by,so this year the soon to be ex wife kindly got me my first ticket and spending money, Rossi gear here we come!!!!

Come to think of it Dusty, my mate with the GSX is from Northern Ireland. Lisburn to be precise and at the Irish Bike Show in March, he arranged a test ride on a new ZZR1400....he is now after shifting his GSX, even though his bum clenched when he looked down and saw 192mph on the clocks!!!
