jusat sat down to watch jake 2.0 on sky and the guys are at wedding do and having a pre marriage paintball game so theres 20 guys all shootin what looks like tippys and one boy with a silver angel and a pair of invisions
got to say though naughty boys liftin there masks in a game zone

but hey as said any coverage is good coverage

i cant believe they used an ir3 and put effects in too make it sound like it was firing real bullets. was funny cause the guy was like "oww ok you got me" and he fired a 9mm round (guessing) at the tree i would have craped myself in that situation.

well i guess it was paintball on tv but not really what we want to see.

and at least it was something better than a stock gun

Goggle issue as always but atleast they did not take any hits when they lifted,

That sounds worse than I mean it too.

Sometimes the show people and then they are shot as if it is safe....I'll be quiet.

Also there was a CSI episode where they have them walking into the middle of a huge game and apparently they are fine.

Like the show, but bad on saftey aspect.

Ahh well.

Was the Angel in Jake a Speed or an IR3? Either way, what a great use of sound effects.

There's going to be paintball on six feet under on tonight's show, I remember the american forums had lots of talk about it when it came out over there (like 2 years ago!) because of all the goggle lifting.
All the same, though, publicity cant hurt as long as playing sites make it crystal clear that goggles never come off.

Hey..

That Jake 2.0 episode was filmed at my paintball field near Vancouver (Canada). They paid us a bit of money, but it's not exactly a huge budget show. I haven't actually ever seen the episode. Was the safety aspect (goggles up etc..) worse or better than other shows? Unfortunately we don't get any input to that sort of thing when they want to rent our field.


PS. I believe the Angel was my Field Managers marker. It's not an IR3. It's either a Speed or an LCD Limted Edition. (Can't remember which right now)
