To cut an extremely long story short, Steve Davidson feels that XBall impinges on certain patents he has with his USPL format, so he was/is trying to stop PSP from running XBall tournaments.

That's a gross oversimplification and missing lots out, but I'm sure Steve will put everyone straight if he sees this thread...

If the dude wins the case, NXL and consorts will be no more, or they will be under new management, or they will have to fork out some big money.....that's all it means.

Well if you play PSP events it may mean extra expense if they want to continue running the X-ball format. Licence costs have to be paid somehow, and that will mean more money from the lowly baller. For those of us based in europe or who play 7 man it probably won't matter much. Well hopefully, anyway!!!
