hi all, just a little thought of mine !

being a kid myself i find it very boring playing people 20 years older than me all the time, and i think that there should be more under 18 tournys ! This would give us youngsters a chance to be seen and noticed by other team. If we play against people our age there would be much more competition therefore much more interesting.

( just my opinion, don’t jump down my throat ! )

Here, some food for thought:

This is a quote from the following link
http://www.p8ntballer.com/cgi-bin/news-viewnews.cgi?id=1012232443

"In the Rookie finals, a fairly young team called SSG decided that now was the time to start playing some real Paintball, and boy did they turn it on when it mattered. Three perfect Maxes in three games is virtually unheard of in any big final, even in the Rookie division. Hats off to you guys, but even bigger hats off to 2nd placed Rookies Twisted Kidz (interview in PGI next month), who have an average age of 13 and only decided to play the MGO three weeks ago. They got their moms to drive them over, wagged a few days off school and played their hearts out. Only one Twisted Kid is over 5ft tall, and they just ripped everyone apart. You would not believe the amount of offers they got from potential sponsors after the presentation – they were just lining up."

Hope this inspires you young'uns to keep going, you youngsters are after all the future.

well

last year we tried to run an under 18s but the responce was pittyfull so it's up to the junior players to put their paint were their mouths are so to speak and show up. Now I am back I will be gathering our local tribe of young hopefulls and putting our under 18s together. Hope to see you soon chris good to here you are still so keen and progressing might see you at one of the tourneys soon.

also a thing that is holding the tourney's back is the price of paint for us young 'uns :)
We don't have jobs that pay us the sort of money we need to be able to buy paint. When these prices drop then we'll be playing more. nuff said. :)
