More Dm4 fun

Yet more issues with my dm4:

I've tried every size allen key imaginable (and I have a pretty vivid imagination) and none of them seem to fit the screw to undo my eye covers. Now I'm no tech but this leads me to believe they're all rounded off. Of course, due to dye designing their marker to look like sex, I can't actually see a thing with the screw being underneath the said cover.

So, how do I get the frickin' thing out?

1/16th or a 0.050 allen key if yours is one of the early dm4's

the screw is under the cover, push your allen key through the little hole and as you undo the screw will lift the cover off

Unless like many DM4s the previous owner shagged the screws.

Owners, tighten the screw until resistance is felt then stop give the allen key a gentle flick and leave well alone.

Could well be a case of glueing the allen key in and trying to undo or better still give it to someone who can fix it for you.

Try getting a slightly oversized torx head bit in there.

They look like this:
