I have a couple of questions for you today.

I have an Eclipse Cocker (2002) upgraded to an E-Blade.

If I screw the anti double ball in all the way the bolt does not go fully forward. If I unscrew it until the bolt does go forward then it is loose. Should there be an O ring on it or should I lock tight it in place?

Secondly I had a couple of bad bursts in the hooper/feed neck today, when I got home the anti double ball had worked really loose.

Is there a connection or is something else wrong?

This might be a obvious question, but is the bolt in the right way up? Coz it should have a groove down one side to slide past the anti double ball!

Believe it or not but the bolt that came with the Eclipse Cocker does not have a groove for the anti double ball!

The bolt is badly scored where it rubs and I have had to file off the rough edges where it was bursting balls.

I think it is the actual body of the anti double ball that protrudes into the breech and stops the bolt.

You are correct the original belsales supercharger venturi bolt used in the eclipse cockers(I believe) does not have a groove in. This is Belsales own cockers do not use a standard ball detent, evo-x cockers have a wire detent.
My understanding is that the new bolts will have the groove in, but you might as well upgrade to the Supercharger Delrin which already has the groove, purchase from Planet at £34 +vat aprrox

nah, halos work fine with cockers due to the way that cockers work
with a cocker the ball is pushed past the adb every time it recocks and the body of the bolt stops the next ball dropping into place ie the bolt is closed
with some other 'open' bolt markers the bolt stays back and that is where you can get probs with halos pushing a 2nd ball in.
you shouldnt have any trouble with halos on cockers, with eblades you can adjust the timings to make sure the bolt doesnt stay open long enough for 2 balls to get in and with mech cockers the only time you might double feed it is if you were to hold the trigger back and deliberatly do it.
ive used halos on mech cockers and had absolutly no probs at all, and that was with a fangs adb

Eclipse Fangz Anti Double Ball Nut (Cocker)

How many people do you know that have a nightmare with there standard Anti-Double Ball !! They can be such a pain in the ass. These little puppies are Soooooo Cool. Two piece design which means you can take the ADB apart in second for repairs or to clean. Rubber Fang holds the ball in place so no sticky ball bearings. We have had these on test for nearly a year and the ADB hasn't needed to be replaced once !! We even give you a spare rubber JUST IN CASE !
We do not recommend the use of these type of Ball Detents with Halo Loaders !

Fangz suck with Halos on Cockers!! < Fact.

Anyway, now I got that off my chest, back to the problem at hand.

When Planet fit the std ball type detent, they loctite it at a certain position, you do not want to screw it all the way in, as the bolt with catch the threads. The wear on a std supercharger bolt is not a problem (I have the same scoring on mine) but as with myself, I would save up for the new Eclipse DART bolt when that comes out to reduce bounce covered on another thread.

Screw in the ADB until the ball does its job, and the bolt will move past it with slight pressure, then back it off a couple of turns (count them) apply a v small amount fo loctite to the thread, and screw it back in those 2 turns, and test again. Once happy, leave the loctite to go off, and you should have no problems.
