maybe an entire forum's not necessary, but maybe keep a stickied thread with a list of stolen kit (no other replies 'hope you get it back mate' etc etc)

I remember WDP sent an email around a while ago with Angel serial numbers of stolen markers, which was useful, those markers could be anywhere by now
