I'm just guessing but first check Thread View Options under Edit Options and confirm you have yes for showing avatar. Also, you may be using a browser that doesn't support the avatar link. For example i don't think any Explorer prior to 5.0 will work.

nope, tryed that, says same thing, it aint just related to the avatar tho, alot other things i try n do on the options say the same thing.

Try contacting this forum's mods and request assitance. I don't have access to your User Settings so I can't check it directly but the gnomes do have people who should be able to help.
