We are to these forums what bouncers are to a nightclub.

Moderators are invited to accept the role. They are usually reasonably well respected (with a few exceptions! ) & have shown the ability to post sensibly.
They move posts that aren't in the right place, edit stuff that gets out of order, lock threads if required & occasionbally ban people who really don't know how to behave themselves. Basically, they are the forum police (in the nicest possible way).

Moderators...

I don't want to blow anyones trumpet (steady), but I think the mods on here do a damn fine job. This is compared to other forums (not paintball related) where leery f**** are allowed to piss everyone off.
