missing trigger spring in dm8- potential microswitch damage ?

i bought a 2nd hand dm8 a few months back and were it was fitted with a magnetic trigger, then the stock trigger put back in there is just a magnet superglued were the trigger spring would normally go.

basically wondering if not having a trigger spring can cause damage to the microswitch/ board?

i will eventually get a critical magnetic trigger for it, but in the mean time is it likely to be an issue?

hopefully someone can help

cheers -jon

Hi Jon

Ultimately, not having a trigger spring will decrease the life of the microswitch. As you are then basically using the switch rather than a separate spring to return the trigger to the forward position.

I would advise getting the magnetic trigger sooner rather than later.
