Hi,

Im thinking of setting up a very small training at home, pplease bear with me whilst i explian.

I am away from home often so attending training days at D7's regulary are a slight problem except on school hols/ half terms, so i have thought about setting up a small training area at home in the garden or the garage just to practice simple drills: snap shooting, gunning of the break, dives etc.

I was thinking of purchasing:
One of those small 5 piece sup air kits
A a second hand dive tank
Some netting and maybe either some reballs and or just buy paint if it were outdoors. so cost wise i am looking around £400.

Friends i see often play ball so its not really individual use.
Just asking for anyones opnion or ideas about this sort of thing for training or any advice and ways to improve the 'site' perhaps would be great or even if you think this is a stupid idea.

thanks for your time,
Angus.

I've trained drills on the small 5 piece kit's and there awesome.

You need to find a legal location for your " field ".
from memory it has to be Minimum 100Metres away from public access roads in every direction.
maybe a site owner can confirm this?
I'm sure there are other rules and laws, buh we found this one the hardest to overcome.

I would suggest re-balls for indoor drilling. just for practicality. but what i found was that re-balls indoor's don't really provide that " Ingame " experience.

Good luck :D

Not really a good idea in your backgarden unless its really big, make sure its away from other peoople who could potential get their eyeball blasted out its socket, thats the main thing! Even with a few bunkers you can do loads of drills, particularly snapshooting.

and all the legal cr*p and then im sorted.
Anything else i would need?

You would need license and insurance et all to be open to the "public". To be open to your friends Im sure your fine with it. Dont open it up to random people, just your paintball buddies is my advice. Air fill it abuot £3-£5 so you wouldnt need to charge much for that.
