Mini question

Hi,
played in a tournement at the weekend,next day started taking my marker apart to clean it up and when i took bolt out there must of been trapped air and it shot out and hit the roof, it seemed ok but when i put it back together and put bottle on it leaks air through the chamber and out the barrel.A team mate has had a look at it and thinks it may be the poppit any advice or solution would be gratefull.

Have a look at the assembly/disassembly videos in this thread. Take apart and clean and lube like Simon does, and then get back to me if it still leaks.

Hi bolter,
tried this and it is still leaking its not a slight leak it just flies straight through and dumps the bottle in about 15 sec.

Also Mason, try the following.

How to reset your poppit. You can do this by screwing the back cap all the way in tightly to make sure that the poppit face is properly sealing. If this stops the leak, but the leak returns once you unscrew the back cap to your proper velocity you should check your poppit face for damage. There should be no lube on the poppit face, or in the hole in the side of the poppit. Only a slight amount of lube should be on the oring. If you have a replacement poppit face, try replacing it. If not contact KEE for a new poppit.

If your poppit is not the issue, check all of the orings on the bolt guide, poppit, and bolt for visual damage. Replace any damaged orings. Lightly lube all of the orings and reassemble your mini.
