Took my Mini apart after a day's play to find this

There doesn't appear to be any wear inside the body, so I guess the spring might be catching
on the bolt. Would filing down the spring end, if it can be done, reduce/stop wear on the new
bolt (when I've ordered one)?

It looks like you may have had a bit of dirt stuck in the spring. I dont think it will affect the marker. The spring will only click/ fit on on way. You will find it hard to put it on the wrong way but just make sure the spring clicks onto the bolt.

My mini bolt was like that. Not as bad but didnt affected anything. I had some dirt stuck inbetween the spring and bolt

Hope this helps

I'm pretty certain I replaced the spring the correct way round last time I took the bolt apart, although I did notice slight scoring on the bolt then. I can't feel any overhang on the spring end, although I will try to round off the end. The Mini was playing brilliantly on Saturday, so much quieter than Spiders/98s/Egos!!!

Thanks for the help.
