Hi guys,

So I've got a mini with the stock board, all set up to what I think should be Mill settings:

Mode - 4 (Millennium)
ROF - 1 (10.5bps)
Dwell - 38 (stock)
BIP - ?
Ramp point - 7 (7.5bps)

The BIP is the only one I'm not sure about. The default is 1 (1ms) but playing with these settings yesterday made it capable of shooting over 10bps - Once the ramp kicked in it capped to 10.5bps, but beforehand I was getting a rate higher than 10.5bps.

Just wondering what other people have the BIP set to - if I up it to 12 then the ROF issue goes away, but is there an optimal value?

Cheers!
Will

Nope, I ran it on anything between 6 - 12ish, and on really really cold days, would whack it up even more. The mini was always a bit of a loose cannon when it came to the 1st boards they had in them. They would ramp, as you say, perfectly at 10.5bps, but the part where you get to the ramp point was a bit sketchy.

You should get the new Empire Shockwave Board. Really nice board, really easy to programme. And you dont loose your settings when you take battery out etc.

The trigger on the Mini can be a little bouncy; with the board set at lowest ROF, I've chrono'd the marker at higher rates. The limit at the field was ten.
I used the BIP setting to slow things down to achieve 10 bps.
With a chrono, vary the BIP setting to achieve the field's limit.
