As the dates for the next years Millennium Series are not yet official I thought I would suggest some dates that I feel would be better than the present ones. This way we would spread it out more evenly and avoid the likelyhood of getting some bad cold weather at, for instance, the Germany event. So here goes:

Portugal: end of March
Germany: end of April
Mayhem: beginning of June
Joy: mid July
Campaign: end of August
Toulouse: beginning of October

Whaddaya all think?
Start the season in sunny Portugal and end it at the World Cup in Toulouse!

There is already a thread going called "Millennium series 2003" where some of these same questions are being discussed. Couldn't we merge these two?

There is a rumor going here in Sweden that an indoor Millennium is being discussed somewhere in the northern parts of Europe and that it should be the season opener.

i've also heard rumors about no Joy. Also heard that some people were very disappointed in the low quanitities of paintballs sold at Joy due to Magued's lack of back bunkers.:p

I agree that it shouldn't be us that decide, but we can put forward our preferences.

Hmm. If this is serious, it could mean that the paintsuppliers will be trying to force less actionpacked games on us, quite the opposite of what most of the players want...

Damn, I wish I would get busy again so I could keep myself away from this keyboard!

Just sabotaged any chances I had of getting a job in the paintball business.

Would you believe it was just an unfounded comment by nobody important?:D

(Mr Moderator, could you take the last post off? My 2-year-old got on the computer while I was taking a shower.)

in my opinion, i love my back bunker, don't put him to much away from my startbox (it's not far, it's big ;o)!!!

@buddha: you're right with you opinion about putting our preferences!

it dosn't matter when the dates are your still going to get bad weather. last year i think it rained at every leg of the millenium.

this year it only rained at amsterdam (although amsterdam did have quite a few redeming features). and in germany i got sunburned where it was so hot.

the only way were going to avoid rain is to have the whole series in portugal. and i dont think thats going to happen!!

Joy Masters

Common guys.

Stop spreading rumours that isnt true. As if a paint supplier could tell the millenium series what event is on or not, please!

Joy Masters is on for 2003. The date isnt decided yet but the entire series schedule will be up soon.

As for the Facefull Joy Masters report, It sucked and it had so many facts wrong that it was scary. And I love the way the author managed to leave on big problem at Joy unmentioned. The F***ing ID card mess. Wonder why?
