This will be interesting. Most boards whether stock or aftermarket boards will only go down to 10bps.
When the Millenium as well as the UK tourney events capped ROF to 12 (12.09 was ok, 12.1 was deemed illegal), most boards had to be set between 11.0 and 11.8 in order not to go above the legal limit when markers were tested with a pact timer or ROF chrono.
If the stardard ROF for lower Divisions was set at 10 bps, i can see a lot of issues with players having to flash there boards again. Unless they decide on a figure of 10.5 or 10.7 there abouts. If they do set the new figure at 10.5-10.7, would it be worth the hassle lowering the ROF from 12 ?
My markers are set on 11.5bps to keep within the legal limit of 12bps. I have had the chance to set it on 10bps, and played around. To be honest, the difference is barely noticeable.
Then, i forget the fact the team will save on paint, a pot or 2 per game
