Dear All,
We're planning this years Fuengirola Cup on the beach again. It's gonna be bigger and better than last year. I know there were some bad points, such as the distance from the paint trucks, not enough rubbish bins on the beach, and toilet positions etc. If you were here last year and you've got any constructive suggestions to help make the event better I'd like to hear from you, but only stuff relating to the venue function, entertainment, and layout etc. (NOT administration, reffing, schedules, buzzers).

The dates ( 23-26th April) are published on millennium series website. It's probably a good time to book your flights now, you should be able to get some deals. I notice Ryanair have started flying to Malaga, so that might help some of you. There's also daily flights to Malaga from the USA.

To give you as much info as possible, (pictures, phone numbers, hotels etc) I'll put up a page on www.mercurypaintball.com in the next week or so.

A Prosperous New Year to you all.:)

build up the sand next to the staging area to stop the tide coming in. i know you did this after it came in and drenched the site. so maybe a good idea to do it before hand

You are right, we were aware of the problem and tried to get it done before the start of the event, but the only machine capable belongs to the council and they took a long time to get it there. Hopefully they learned a lesson.

Staging area for all teams

M5 teams were given a few tables and left to bake in the sun, no tents were provided, unlike the other divisions.
