Millennium events, how strict on masks?

A question regarding mask moding and the Millennium events; have any of you had problems with marshals making a fuss if you have cut the chin strap off your mask?

Most peeps cut them off strait out the box, but this could I suppose be seem as mask alterations.

You should have no problems with a cut chin strap, its just stickers, cut ears and modded masks as in the propper protecting plastic being cut that is the problem area.


No sane martial will check if you are wearing a chin strap, it looks gay, lots of player find them uncomfortable, and it often pulls the mask down making them less safe and secure than if you didnt wear one.

in madrid they were checking goggles for modded bits etc

if a chin strap was present they were telling people to do them up


dont risk running the gauntlet for the sake of it is my advice
