to be honest id say most people haveit set lower than 7.5 . 4,5,6 depending on how grey you want to play it. and some stock modes seem to kick in quite early

what marker is it your setting up ?

I've a dm4 with a lucky ACE chip, it has a millenium mode built in, I also have a DM3 with a Tadao M5, this has a PSP ramp mode though the ramp start is configurable depnding upon the series.

Just wanting to make sure I'm within the rules as we're planning to play NSPL Div 4 this year.

as milky said most people have theres set to a lot lower, its very difficult to tell precisely what your start and sustain rate is, having it at 6 is no different to 7.5 as we dont have robots in this country to tell exactly where the kick in rate is.

Though if you go too severe any chrono judge worth his salt will be able to pick up on it. I used mine with 6 kick in rate at mills and didnt have problem :D

The Ace chips millenium mode is 7.5 trigger pulls per second to get 15bps, which is exactly 2 shots per pull while ramping. It falls within the rules so you wont be pulled even by the most zealous chrono judge.

You can of course push the rules with more adjustable chips and its very hard to notice.

This is all assuming the millenium are staying at 15bps this year.

even if you used psp with an activation of 7bps, it'd still be illegal as the maintain speed would still be three bps and it'd still be in ramp if you paused for a second
