Either Planet has misinterpreted the rules (which I very much doubt) or the Millennium rules committee are having another dose of indecisiveness, and haven't got around to telling the players what their feelings are this week. It would really help if they actually had current rules available for download on their web site.

If ramping is allowed, what are the legal implications for this? Are we to assume that the promotors have taken legal advice in each of the countries holdin Millenniums to ensure the rule doesn't fall foul of local law? Or are they hoping to get away with it if they keep quiet (F stamps all over again...)

The Rules will be issued shortly. As I am sure you can imagine we have had a lot of very technical issues to resolve for the 2005 season plus we have given gun manufacturers a heads up on our plans to give them time to produce relevant changes ready for the start of the season. All of this has added to our timescales and caused us to slip`the publication date.
Sorry about that but the 2005 rulebook will be out shortly.

The press release of early February was very clear - "The rate of fire will be locked at 15 shots per second. Ramping and full automatic shots are still forbidden." This was not a multiple choice issue. Obviously, though, the guidance has changed now and the final rule will be different.

Scutty, thanks for the update - being kept informed is all we ask for (well, that and cheaper tournaments. Oh, and better prizes. And free beer. And a pony.)

Rabies where did you read anything about ramping being legal in the Millennium Series?
