Millenium ramping .. confused ??

Ok, not used this before and dont wanna end up setting my markers up wrong..

Got 05 ego with tadao board.. Have followed instructions posted up previously to set it up.. ( I set it to ramp when it hits 8 pulls to be safe)

Should the ramp kick in after i have pulled the trigger 8 times in a second or as soon as i start pulling the trigger fast enough??
If i slowly walk the trigger it fires normally, but if i walk faster and do 6 pulls in half a sec the ramp begins to start.. so technically i havent hit the 8 mark..

Is this correct?? Have checked the trigger aint bouncing etc.. Im a little inexperianced in the legallities of ramping

yeh i guess as long as you begin to pull the trigger fast enough it should ramp before youve done the needed 8 pulls.. dont wanna get pulled cos of a dodgy marker tho if im wrong!!

The rate is meant to be 7.5bps , but the tadao gives the option of whole numbers only, so i set it on 8bps to be safe!!

Thats excellant, i thought it was working ok but last thing id wanna do is let my team down by using an illegal marker!!

It's based on the time between pulls and I think should activate after the 3rd pull. So you pull 3 times 1/8th of a second apart or less and it should start ramping.
Correct me if I'm wrong :D

Current rules state it may ramp at 7.5bps and THERE IS NO NEED FOR 3 PULLS (although you will have to argue with chrono refs, who haven't generally bothered to read the rules themselves, about this.) This means that if you pull the trigger twice, less than 134ms apart, the marker may fire 3 shots (i.e. once for the first pull, and twice for the second pull.)

Most software is set up to require 3 pulls before ramping starts, because generally the designers have just modified PSP mode (which does have the 3-shot rule.) The Millennium rules say nothing about that, though, so ramping can start on the second shot. And the difference is quite noticeable - you can pop out of your bunker and start chucking 15bps down the field almost immediately, instead of the first few shots being limited by your own fat, lazy fingers.
