Can any body tell me if there is a cut off for teams wishing to play div 1 in the milleniums next year?

Is Div1 even being locked at the end of this season?
I've heard vague rumours about the division being locked and a format similar to SPL being introduced, but nothing solid.Anyone from the IPPU know anything? Or someone connected to the Millennium Board?

Would be nice knowing what we are actually playing for? Especially for teams not playing the entire season - meaning, them having a chance to plan wether they NEED to play more events in order to qualify for next season??

thats what we need to know we have want to focus on the milleniums next season but we also need to make sure we can still play div 1 or do we need to play more events this year?
Hmmm... Still no news/info on the cut off, BUT now they have actually sort of made it offial who´s gonna be promoted - maybe I just haven´t noticed it yet, but when looking at the MS website ranking you will now find 6 top-teams highlighted in "green".... And an explanation in the bottom saying "will be promoted"!
Thats been known since end of last season...top 6 from Div1 go up into SPL...bottom 6 go down into Div 1
Nothing on whether Div1 is gonna be locked.
Personally, i dont think the sports is anywhere near a position for it to be able to lock it's top 3 divisions out of 4 (real divisions anway
)Although it may guarantee the millennium having 32 (or however many teams) for Div 1 throughout the season, it'll put off newly formed teams from entering as they're have to work their way up from Division 2!
We'll then end up with those Div2 teams being beaten up constantly by teams that should be playing in a higher division but can't because they're all locked.
Although i like the idea of 7-man being replaced
i for one would certainly make more effort to play if it was SPL style insteadSam
