Midlands XBall tournament ????

would an xball tournament based in the midlands bring ballers from the north and from the south together ???

from what i have seen so far, traveling is a major issue for most, and it seems many ballers wont travel from one end of the country to the other, or very few. But most will travel like 2 - 3 hours.......... thoughts???

who has a site in the midlands that could or would support it????

if you give me about 6months... i should have a site set up nicely in the midlands...

looking at some plots in derby, and also around the m69 junction in hinckley(leicestershire), so nice and accessible

and x-ball will be the primary aim of the site, as it is being set up to facilitate the local training needs of the leicester wildcats...

You can do Wolverhampton to the PA in Ancaster in about 2:15

Edit : just thought id add, yeah something closer would be cool (like in Cannock / Wolverhampton ... everything seems to be set up at least 2 - 3 hours drive away from us though)

thats my point 2 - 3 hrs of traveling is all good...... my point is 2 - 3 hrs of the midlands covers a lot of the north and south = bigger event + more players the p.a. is for 4 months what about the other 8 ?

with all the UKs motorways running through the midlands coventry where i am from is spot on. one and half hours each way and i can do most uk sites. an 1.5 is about a good drive in each direction

Yes! simply because its where paintballs going. Fish holla me at some point have some land available near derby could be worth a look into.

the p.a. is for 4 months what about the other 8 ?

This season is four months because I wanted players to try the format.
We have plans to increase the number of events we offer to satisfy player demand but we will not have all events contributing to a season winner because we believe players should play what they can afford and have no pressure to play all events just to feed our pockets.
We have also looked at the possibility of having four regional events with just one two day national tournaments that all the regional winners would be given free entry so we could then find the national Xball champion who would then receive full sponsorship for the following season.
Lets see how the season goes and then we can make plans.......

There is a proper dense time for the paintball season ... PA Xball, Millennium Events, UK masters 5 & 7s, its crazy and expensive.

Im not against it, i have fell in love with Xball and wouldnt mind a knock about again if possible
