Round 6 of the Midlands Masters is set to hit Nottingham again, this time Nottingham Skirmish on the 23rd June 2002, Nicks excellent venue should provide the perfect backdrop for this rapidly expanding tournament.
Now the bad news,There is a 36 team limit o this event, and we have 28 teams confirmed, so if you want to play call either Mark or Phil on 07736 255 796/5, Diablo Piant will be available, once again this as to be pre-booked, call Les 07736 255 793.
In order for us to cope with the rota, and to avoid putting the emphasis on the players to help speed up the tourny, ALL future concept ames will be played over eight minutes. We are considering introducing a time bonus as well, tell us what you think. The game points would be as such, 5 points per elimination, 25 points for the first grab, 40 points for the hang, 20 points for a transit, and 10 points if the hang is under 5 minutes, lose 1 point for every teammate lost.
Also the entry fee will be £150.00 per team, this has been agreed after canvassing the opinion of the teams on the issue of air, High pressure air will be available at all future MM events, thus the cancellation of the early deposit discount scheme.
Marshalls, we are still recruiting marshalls, especially for the two day event in September, we offer top rates and as much sh** as you can handle.
On a lighter note we will be running our second marshal training session in the next couple of weeks, so if you are interested contact Jono on 07736 255 794.
