"Mechanical Bounce Test - Markers will be tested for mechanical bounce by a bumping or jarring of the marker. Markers will be held by the rear of the main body and bumped on the tank or hopper. No contact will be made with the trigger. The marker will be deemed to have mechanical bounce if the marker fires during the bump test"

If this is a test that everyone can relate to it has to be predetermind how hard you may hit the the marker?

What do you say Andy?

I totally agree! We have just installed the new boards for the Ego and were testing the Markers with regards the new Mill Rules and depending on how hard/strongly the markers were 'bumped' they all bounced. Even after adjustments the same thing happened. I think a bit more clarification is needed.

I hope you were trying to be funny, because ALL markers will fire if you hit it hard enough, as long as the trigger is movable.

So the question stands, how hard will it be hit during the Millenium testing and how will they make sure that all the refs hit all the markers with the same force?

I think this rule need some rethinking the way it is right now.

I can agree that we need some kind of control but the way it stands now it is to much up to the ref to decide wether it is legal or not.

you guys need to hit the weights Johan:D then again maybe we need to so we can move our new and legal triggers.

I still mean that the rule has to say something about the force that is allowed to be used.

Going PRO this year Johan?

Why does it matter?Just set the trigger so that it is stiff enough that it does not fire when hit on the bottle. you areallowed ramping anyway, so all you have to do is make sure that with one finger you can pull the trigger 4 times a second and the gun can shoot at 15
