OK we've had a lot of comments on the tournament itself, both good & bad, but very little about the people who helped to give us the good stuff & minimise the affect of the bad stuff. I think we need to give a bit of credit to these unsung heroes so I'm going to kick it off with a list of a few of the people I saw acting above & beyond the call of duty over the weekend.

Adrian, who worked flat out all weekend trying to keep things organised despite only coming to work on the trade stand
Geoff (Diablo) who seemed to be everywhere & had to get up every night to change the batteries so they were all charged for the barricades for the next day
Ledz & all the guys who saved lives by catching the tower that nearly fell on the Smart Parts tent - I'm sure others saved towers from landing on people but these are the ones that saved MY life
Ollie the Osteo, who came for a holiday and treated at least 15 players instead

My (and Sparklie's) personal heroes - the Killer Clowns who rescued us when we were stuck on the site with no transport & the cab never arrived.

I know there must be loads more people who deserve some recognition, I've just listed a few that I saw.

Hi guys I can only confirm every thing Liz has posted.

I would also like to thank manike and his team for rescuing me at the air port squeezing me and my luggage  well I am a girl so there was a lot of it in t thier cars and getting me to the venue.

The Clowns are my hero's obviously as they rescued Liz and my self and selflessly moved all their kit and players round to fit us in and drove out of their way to get us back to our hotel. So huge thanks guys and if I can ever help I hope I shall be in a position to do so.

big thanks to banzi for saving my freind :D

Ollie you are a miricle worker :) my back has never felt this good so I shall just have to keep cookies on reserve for your good self;)

Finnally to Adrian and Geoff with out whom I dread to think what might have happened. You are both great blokes and I hope this exsperience has not put you off. I know it was all a bit stressfull for both of you.

So many thanks hugs and cookies to all of you
