I've got a vert maxflow (no gauge) plugged into a voodoo full flow with a mini gauge on. Now I want to get the pressure down to nice 160 which is marked on my gauge, so I un-screw the max flow in. the gauge goes down slowly. I fire a few shots and the thing perks up to about 180, so I un-screw it a bit more, fire a few shots and bang up it goes up again. So I un-screw it again and then a hissing starts to come out of the bottom of the maxflow, so I screw it back up and it's ok, but I never seem to be able to get the pressure down to what I want it to be. What the hell is going on.........can someone please enlighten me.

While you uys are thinking about it I'm going to download the maxflow manual off the SP website.

If it is just a slight air leak out of the bottom, it could be the pressure dropping in the maxflo and nothing serious.
When you reduce the pressure by unscrewing it, the pressure will drop in the lower part by leaking out of the bottom.
If it is permanently coming out then it is usually overpressure that causes this
