Max-flow nipple

something inside the nipple on a max-flow snapped in half and baisicly useless. i took the nipple off and put a nipple from a pre-set air on to the max-flow. the pre-set is a 3000psi bottle. so its a nipple from a 3000psi air bottle on a 4500psi max-flow. am i still able to fill the air bottle up with 4500psi or will it blow the nipple off?

thats a good one i would imagine you would be fine as its the tank pressure thats different im pretty sure that all nipples are the same and the difference in pressure wont matter - but id like to hear an uber techs opinion.

am 99% sure they are all the same but i would make sure before you fill it and blow yourself up!

heh, i got all week for input, dont need any fast replys althought they will help will need to know by next weekend.

if thats the case then i really would recommend buying a new one...give planet or someone a quick call, shouldnt cost more than a fiver and you can then put the other nipple back on your space system.

is it worth not spending a fiver to have the damn thing blow up?

give em a ring, they dont always list all the fiddly bits on the website

them or planet, both will probably have em, a fill nipple is a standard part....make sure you got a cover for it too, stop all the crap getting in your air system
