Max Flow help!

I have just found this max flow reg in my spares box.

I have no idea how to make it work, check the pics, before calling me stupid!

What do i need to do to it?
Is it a vert reg???
Do I just need to but the bracket bit, and make it into a "normal" max flow??

Ideas, and help required!!

it looks like an old 3000psi max flow regs with a new lockable cap fitted

where used orginally with co2 and the first shockers, could be used as a vert reg but a bit awkward to fit,

It is a standard Max Flo, but with some weird home-made manifold attached. Not sure there's an easy way to tell if it's a 3000 or 4500psi, but I'd guess at a 3000.

Best thing to do is get a new CO2 manifold from SP. You'll need to remove that bit of pipe from the reg and replace it with a nipple (I think it's a standard quick disconnect nipple but not sure) and stick the reg in the manifold.

Or you could get an Eclipse VRM, mount the reg in that and use it as a vertical reg (as long as you don't mind all the bits of hosing everywhere that entails.)

I agree with skeet it looks like a remote maxflo I once saw for sale on ebay.

It is marked as a 4500psi max flow. will give S/P a ring and see if they can tell me how to "upgrade" it.

Been in touch with S/P, and yes its a remote.

They have spare cradle and bits, but at a price!. Would be more expensive to upgrade, than buy a second hand one!

So unless someone has some spares kicking around, will just stay at the bottom of my bag.
