I've got a max flo, but not sure if what it is doing is normal:confused:

I gas up, and the output pressure starts to drop. If I fire some shots off it returns, but sometimes still looses some of the pressure. I have had the pressure climb up sometimes, which is quite worrying.

If I fire some shots off it seems to return to normal. Sometimes it stablizes where I want it to, sometimes it continues to move around a bit.

I've had the front of the reg off, cleaned it and re-greased it. Is there anything else I need to do:confused: Should I send it in to Smart Parts:confused:

Well 4 any body else who needs 2 know.Mine did the same b4.it may need a complete clean(everything)including the main body or there 2 much(most likely) / little grease.
Remove all seals clean, inspect for damage & lightly grease EXCEPT the reg seat seal(that seals the reg poppet, thats the 'pin' that moves in the body) & base seal(the 1 that sits IN the reg body).
That should sort it out.:D
Enjoy the greasing!!!

I've had it in pieces, cleaned it, greased it, and ran some air through it. Seems to be better, only time will tell I guess. I'm gonna buy a complete service kit incase I need to replace stuff.

Now all I got to do is get my impy running at it most effiecient and away I go.

New guns are always the worst until you break them in :D

Sicknote,

Styles got it right.

Most reg's of any description are criminally overgreased at the beginning. Case in point Angels are renowned for packing grease issues with consistency.

So when reassemble the reg you don't need much at all.

Then it's just a matter of putting shots through to seat the valve properly.

At Sparklies "waste" about 4-5K shots through it (with air) and I bet you'll see a noticable improvement.
