Max flo

Is that right ? can you use a co2 max flo 3000 for air?
If so obvisously saves me some money but have to make sure first......
I thought you had to buy a 4500 max flo to have air on ya gun?

If youve got the standard bottom line adapter (the same as on inferno's) & Vertical Maxflow then all you need is to screw in an air system (Melee, PMI, Nitro Duck) if you have the manifold at the bottom, then you need to buy a 3000psi air bottle so you can fill it up with air.

Personally id look around on here for a second hand airsystem, then wait a few days and buy my vertical max-flow off me.

Yeah need to sort some wonga how much you want for your vert max flow would help if i new the price ....so then i would need a air bottle and some sort of air system right?
er hate to sound thick (i try not too lol) so i would need a bottle and a air system meaning? god i'm stupid in simple site paintball man terms plz burb hehehehe...

you can stick a pre-set (800-850 output) reg into that and it'll run the same as Co2..but better

Right your options are - buy a 3000psi bottle, and smartparts on/off tap and you can use the reg on your gun at present.

3000psi doesnt give you as many shots as 4500psi though.

The other option is buy a second hand 4500psi air system for about £200, and buy a eclipse frm for about £30 and mount your reg from the bottom on to your marker. (confusing i know)

Or buy a new 4500psi Max-flow and bottle for £350ish

Hope this makes sense, ill through in some site words to make you feel at home.

Nice one burb that has actually made sense to me so in other owrd i can use the current reg and buy a smaller air bottle and a on/off tap....or etc etc right at the moment i will think about it i will probally either do the first one or the third i don't know about the second as it seems i will have most probs with this....

I have checked pirces for new 4500psi reg 175 +vat and about 165 +vat for a gas bottle and have to get a valve as well.

Will keep you informed of what i choose cause i can see some teething probs...but still have to ask others as only 3 of us have impulses and 4 ecceleraters fun fun with a electronic gun!,and i think i will have to get them to upgrade quick smart!

Rob, if you are thinking of getting the Max Flow 4500 psi system you will not need a valve for the bottle. Most regs (incluing the Max Flow) have the valve attached to the reg. Its usually a 1 piece design. The bottle should only cost you £145 + VAT if getting it from Smart Parts Europe, but remember to buy an HSE tested bottle. The DOT tested bottles are illegal over here.

I have a Max Flow 4500psi system and it rocks! Consistant and had no problems with it at all. One of the best buys I could have made
