4500 may be more exspensive but for the long run ure safer getting it as all fills will be soon using 4500 it gives you more shots per tank.
And the co2 point!! you cannot use co2 on an air reg or tank there to different air sources! air is much easier on your marker plus its more consistent. co2 is much cheaper and easier for new people getting started.

as was said by slim_kw in an earlier post

as far a i remember the older style 3000 max flo's are capable of running both co2 and air. a 4500 system will be better in the long run as u will not need to upgrade. (unless u want the new 5000 systems )
