Standard is the correct word...but in an american way, the grubscrews you will get in this country will be metric unless you can find a stockist of Imperial (americans call that standard) they aren't too rare but doubtful that Maplin will have them, same would go for B&Q I know you can get Imperial tools in both of those shops but this is a very small grubscrew so you need a specialist tool shop (old style ironmongers) though if you want to do an online search for South Essex Fastners they should be able to help you.
Why don't you call Smart Parts in Dartford they should have some and it shouldn't be too much and something like that definately can be put in an envelope.

i have just been 2 a tools werehouse thingy 2 get the same screw they gave me sum but they needed cuttin down a few mil the place was called kings dunno if it helps if there is 1 near u?

Sorry to dredge this up but I need to know the exact size of the locking screw so I can hunt around ironmongers for it, SP wont sell me one seperate and want £15 + p&p for a set of screws :rolleyes: . Anyone with a max flo able to measure the screw for me?

just drill all the way through where the threads are counter sink it to look like the oher side (were the allen head used to go) & put a metric allen bolt with a nut the other side (readily availible) thats what I did.
