i have a standard max flo lp reg on my impulse and as i do like the gun and cant really afford to change it yet thought id like to mod it slightly and make it bit more steamlined! what would i need to remove the max flo to use the gun still?

would i just be able to get a lp reg for my bottle and then the drop forward and bit the bottle screws into? (ASA?)

You need a rail or drop, but a rail is better and a bottom line. Getting one with an on/off is much easier

Depending on how your impy's hosed up, you may need one of these sprint kits

And then obviously a preset bottle

Not that i know anything about the Impys but are you sure they are LP (low pressure) as they will run on Co2 which is HP (high pressure)
I don't know but thought i'd just pose the question:cool:

definatley lp!!
gun runs around 175
what i wanted to know also is, i have a bottle already but obviously it screws onto the max flo, so whats the best reg to get to put onto the bottle?
do any preset ones go low enough for the gun? or do i need an adjustable one as this is used to set the velocity on the immpy.

I believe the bottle your using is just a standard bottle that will fit any Reg.
I also believe that LP is 450psi as standard, but although you say 175psi is that the gauge on the side (working pressure) because my Ion runs at 160psi yet i have an 850psi HP bottle, it's the reg on the foregrip that reduces the working pressure so have you got a forgrip regulator or is it a straight through and it's reduced on the maxflow?

far as i'm aware it must be reduced at the max flo! the foregrip has no gauges or anythin on!
two on the max flo, bottle pressure and output! and on back of the marker the working pressure.
i would get a vert max flow but i have an adrenaline impy and the smart parts bits dont fit!!! and buypb not replyin to emails!

are there regs that can be adjusted lower than 450psi that go straight on the bottle?

i've sent him pm cheers

An adjustable reg is basically fully adjustable to any pressure. i know you can get them but i don't know where at the moment as sleep deprivation is calling me to bed.
Pm Skeet, i'm sure he was telling me about a great cheap adjustable reg not that long ago but the name evades me at the moment,
just like skeets paintballs really:D
