Matrix trigger rod size??

Ive just bought a CP matrix trigger for my angel.
It fits fine and goes really quick but there is some side to side play.
The play is coming from the trigger pin being too small for the bearing thingy in the trigger.
Im thinking that its imperial size due to the matrix being a yankie gun.

So my question to the matrix people out there is:

What is the diameter of the trigger rod in the dm3??

Cheers

Is it a roller bearing trigger? Roller bearings should be a press fit on the shaft, although of course for such critical applications as a paintball trigger one can ignore such details. But if it's a roller bearing it can't bind on the trigger pin, surely?

Rabies you are right,
The bearing is already in the trigger, the bit that the rod goes through cant bind as it is free to rotate(relative to the trigger).

The angel trigger pin is 3mm, I am guessing the pin in the Matrix is 1/8 of an inch, or 3.175mm.

I have ordered some 1.8" rod. (I bought loads so if anyone wants some, lemme know)

Rob I know I will have to drill my frame, doesnt really bother me my gun is FAR from standard anyway.

Thanks for the help so far, I will post my results.

Should be a good interference fit with the bearing housing. If it is loose there really is no point having a bearing.

Else theres no point having a bearing, as its not doing anything but be a hole for the pin.
