Right... was having probs with my primary marker today so thought I would get out the backup.

It is a DM3 matrix with evolve bolt. Has the dye board and eyes.

Problem is it was just exploding paint (on the bolt).

Stuck it back in the kit bag and borrowed a marker for the rest of the day.

When I got home I gave the breech etc a clean and thought I would air it up to see if it was gonna behave.

Problem is as soon as I turn the asa on it either gushes gas out of the front of the bolt, out of the back blanking plate, or from what appears to be the grip frame (intemitent as to which one it is.

There isn't enough air getting to it to fire theres that much gushing out.

Anyone got any clues at all?

Any help appreciated.

Maybe the manifold or the 4-Way Valve? If its comming from near thr gripframe it could be that. If too much pressure gets to the valve, it could fail.

If the leak is comming from between the body and rear-cap, try replacing #23 oring on rear cap.

If leaking form manifold base: #3 orings or 4 way gasket.

From Manifold vents: check #15 bolt seal

Leaks from grip-frame: remove the frame, and use soapy water to find where the leak is comming from.

In front of 4-Way: Check #15 transfer spool. Or Check #9 on transfer spool, or check #8 on LPR.

Between front wall and body: replace #23 oring on frontwall. Make sure theres' no scratches are on the inner diameter of the body.

Leaks between front wall and bolt: replace #17 quad oring. Check for scratches on front part of bolt.

Leaks from chamber plug: grease/replace #10 oring

Leaks from transfer spool: grease/replace #15 oring

Mention other areas, and I'll let you know which oring i think it may be

:)

Matrixes are not simple machines, and never have simple fixes ;) :D
