Matrix LED or LCD?

Hello,
I would appreciate your advice on which is better for what reason. And if the LCD is worth the extra cash. Any difference in performance?

To my (albeit limited) knowledge the only things that will really affect a Matrix's performance will be things like different bolt kits, having a PBC / Trinity reg so you need to check whether the LCD comes automatically with those over the LCD.

An LCD with bolt kit and PBC / Trinity should perform exactly the same as an LED with the same bolt kit and PBC / Trinity. All the LED gives you is the ability to set forward and backward dwell without resorting to DIP switches and some game timer facilities.
