what the difference between an led matrix and an lcd ( and dont say the screen doh) do they have the same internals / sdjustment etc.

Cheers

Oh and can someone explain what a gun20 chip etc does.

What kinda shot count can you get from a 1.1 4.5k with whatever mods

The biggest difference is the way in which you control the fwd/backward pulse of the bolt. The led's have your basic 4 dip switches which gives you a limited number of options and the lcds are fully adjustable. The fwd/backward pulse also dictates maximum rate of fire, where you can set your trinity and air consumption.
The actual bolt inside is pretty much the same (the lcds come with quite an air efficient bolt negating the need to upgrade to a red bolt kit) and the gun 20 chip is simply the updated chip that comes with the red bolt kit (more air efficient than the standard led bolt).

As for shot count my LCD with a 1.1 4.5k with just a Pure Rush bolt stop (lets you shoot the tank to pretty much empty) I'm probably getting 1200-1300.(I'm not using the most efficient setting though)
My Led with lcd bolt, Pure Rush bolt stop, Evolve tophat & frontwall/beercan combo, I reckon I'm getting min. 1500 (I don't carry that much paint so it's hard to say for sure).
If your at the next m25 pop over to the diablo tent and you can check em out mate.

Get an LED, and trick it out with the parts that Booga suggested, then give it to Ronnie from the tigers, and put an eye in it.
Then you will have a super fast machine gun that's very accurate and quiet.

With the trinity set up correctly you don't really need the eye for most paint, but you'd be surprised at the number of people who don't bother setting it up and think just having it there is enough!
Also, with really brittle, high grade tourny paint like Hellfire or the new Draxxus Flare the trinity may not be quite enough, so the eye is really extra insurance for those 'off the break, 15 bps till your hoppers empty' moments when you really don't want to have to clean your barrel as soon as you hit your primary.

the eye means you can shoot as fast as you physicaly can (only limited by your hopper) all the time from any possition, any angle right down to that last few bobbly balls that would normaly chop. Added to the fastest shooting most acurate marker around you basicaly get a hosepipe that lays paint in a sweeping stream. ;)
