how do you turn up the rof on the lcd matrix

You need to adjust the front/back bolt timing. When the marker is in SAFE mode, press and hold the bottom button until the menu appears on the LCD. The settings you need are the ones with the picture of a gun with the forward and backward arrows above them. Once you've selected one of these you'll have to take the grip off the trigger frame and press the white/silver button at the top left of the circuit board to unlock the setting. You can then use the grip buttons to adjust the timings up or down.
