Matrix' gas consumption

I'm going to buy a Matrix very soon, but I've been reading and hearing about the Matrix' terrible gas consumption. The setup of mine will be:
68ci 4500 psi airtank
trinity reg
Aardvark bolt (including chip)
So, does anyone of you Matrix owners out there have any experience with this setup and do they really shoot about 1200 times with each fill? Since I'm a back player, I'm a bit concerned with running out of air in the middle of a game.

Thanks,

I think the Aardvark bolt and chip does the job. I have mine on a 1.5 litre 4500psi very fancy Angel Air bottle (nicely decorated) with a shock tech reg. Don't know if the printed bottle improves efficiency but it looks good.

Managed to outpace my revvie with x-board though - shweet!

Don't know if I will keep it though, I play front and its a bit big.

Ok, thanks for your input. Any more opinions people?

btw: is a 1,5L bottle bigger or smaller then a 68ci one?

i play at the front and i use a 1.1(68ci)and with a new ardvark bolt it ads a third of your air consumption so with a 1.1 and a new bolt on a 3000 fill you will get 4 pots and a hopper but with a 4000 fill you will get a third more but i cant be bothered to work it out you do the maths but it depends if you burn through paint or not

But the accuracy rocks along with the rate of fire

I have the old bolt and chip and can empty all 5 pots and my hopper on a 1.5 at 3000psi so the new bolt with the right dip switch settings will do all you need.
I have the settings for the new and old bolts if you want them or go to ardvark.

NEver run out of air.....

but have run out of paint before! I run my Matrix on a 1.5l 4500psi with the Aardvark bolt kit and can shoot 9 pots and a hopper - although it leaves me very very short of air (and breath) at the lend.

Hope that helps
